On Wednesday, WG2 (Markets) members exchanged with @EU_MARE about #IUU carding system, plus new 2024-2025 ATQs. 🐟

@ejfoundation presented a draft proposal about IUU and import controls. WG2 agreed on advice about European Year of Skills, and 🇪🇺-🇦🇴 SFPA.

The EU IUU Fishing Coalition is composed of the Environmental Justice Foundation (EJF), Oceana, The Nature Conservancy, The Pew Charitable Trusts and WWF are working together to promote EU leadership in improving global fisheries transparency and governance to end illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing. While working closely together on a number of issues in the EU, some areas, such as work on legislation that requires lobbying, are not actively conducted by all members.
